I find joy in listening to field recordings. They give you insight into another's "journey in sound". When the experience is limited to sound, the experience is enhanced, because it is not diluted by the visual and other sensory inputs. I wanted to start my own journey in sound, in which I give my readers an ear into my auditory happenings. This blog may and probably will evolve, as I continue discover more of what I hear, myself.
I recorded my beloved wife, playing a music box she bought in Paris, and then faded in an overlaid field recording of traffic noise and chirping birds.
